I have been using NSW inhome care for over 2 years now and they are an absolute lifesaver!
I’m sure a lot of other parents are in the same boat as us and there aren’t really a lot of people who can care for our special needs children while we have a break, work or attend to our other children. Day care isn’t an option for us due to my daughters very high needs and seizures, and not to mention the germ factor. So when I was sent information about NSW inhome care I was very keen to see if we qualified!
We have had some amazing carers/educators from the service come out to our house over the past 2 years. I have trained them to help me with my daughters physio, getting her into her different equipment, sensory play, and using her ipad head switching apps. It has been a HUGE help as I have a 2 year old who requires a lot of attention. I would never be able to accomplish all of her therapy goals without the help.
