HelpKidzLearn iPad and Android Apps. Great site for special needs childrens apps

These site was recommended to me by our speech pathologist. We are currently working with our daughter to use a switch with her head as she doesn’t really have much arm function.

There are only a few apps that are really suitable for her due to her low vision and capabilities. My 2 favourites are listed below, but please have a browse through all their apps as they are all fantastic and they have a great range for all levels.

iPad arms/mounts to attach to any surface

Our lovely vision therapist from the RIDBC found this amazing iPad arm/mount for us a couple of years ago and we haven’t been able to use it as we only just received an iPad through the Variety program a few weeks ago.

I love this arm. it can be attached to most surfaces, wheelchairs, hi lo chairs, tables, and in the car to the headrest. It can be angled in any direction.

We can now try some switching iPad apps 🙂
